Mt. Kailash Helicopter Tour

Mount Kailash (6638m) is one of the heavenly mountains in South Asia, accepted to be the habitation of Hindu Ruler Shiva. The Hindus, Buddhists, Jains, and Bon Pa adherents of Mount Kailash are the four religions that share the mountain as their center. However, due to its remote location, Kailash receives few pilgrims annually. Mount Kailash is considered by adherents of the Hindu religion to be the location where Lord Shiva lives with his wife, Goddess Parvati, and other helpers. Moreover, Tibetans respect Mount Kailash as Kang Rimpoche (Ways of the Spirit), while the adherents of antiquated Bon Dad religion take Kailash to be the spirit of Tibet. Similarly, the Jain religion considers Mount Kailash to be Mount Ashtapada due to the belief that their saint Rishabanatha attained spiritual liberation there.

Hindus believe that turning around Mount Kailash once will erase all of a person's past sins and cleanse them spiritually. Additionally, we will be able to break free from the never-ending cycle of life and death by making 108 circumambulations of Mount Kailash.

You will enjoy Mount Kailash and the surrounding natural landscape on our 10-day itinerary, which will take you to its remote lands. One of the highlights of the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is Lake Manasarovar. We travel by helicopter for the majority of the distance. We will walk and take in the sights during the Kailash Parikrama spiritual walk and circumambulation. From the views from the helicopter to the cultural and spiritual splendor that lies between, this tour is absolutely stunning.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

To visit Mount Kailash, which is located in Tibet, you will need to obtain a Chinese visa and a Tibet Travel Permit. The visa fees for visiting Tibet can vary depending on your nationality and the type of visa you are applying for. Here are some general guidelines regarding the visa fees for a Mount Kailash helicopter tour:

CHINESE VISA

  • The cost of a Chinese visa varies depending on your nationality and the processing time. It is advisable to check with the Chinese embassy or consulate in your country for the most up-to-date information on visa fees.
  • The Chinese visa is typically obtained before entering Tibet, as you will need it to cross the Nepal-Tibet border.

TIBET VISA

  • The Tibet Travel Permit is a special permit required for foreign travelers to enter and travel within Tibet, including Mount Kailash.
  • The cost of the Tibet Travel Permit is generally included in the overall tour package provided by Himalayan Yoga And Excursion organizing the Mount Kailash helicopter tour.

The representatives of Himalayan Yoga And Excursion will pick you up at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu and take you to the hotel. After rewards, you will be advised in short about your visit by our aide or visit pioneer. If you have any questions or concerns about your trip, you should ask them and get answers right now. Stay the night at the hotel.
The following morning, after breakfast, we will embark on an engaging city tour of Kathmandu. You will visit temples and monuments while being escorted by an English-speaking guide (we can provide any language-speaking guide upon request). This will give you a full taste of our culture, heritage, and locals. In our touring visit, we will go to a few UNESCO World Legacy locales in Kathmandu. We'll take you to the airport after the sightseeing tour so you can catch your flight to Nepalgunj. The scenic flight takes around 45 minutes. After picking you up at the airport, our representative will take you to your hotel, where you will spend the night.
Early morning on this day, you will be moved to the air terminal (a little ways from Inn) to travel to Hilsa (the boundary between Nepal and China), in the Humla locale. Before arriving at Hilsa, your helicopter lands at Simikot, the authoritative base camp of the Humla locale of Nepal. You will land here because the Nepalese border immigration office is located here. According to Nepalese regulations, you must stamp your passport with an exit stamp before you leave for China or the Kailash. The formalities generally take between 30 and 45 minutes. In the wake of finishing the customs in Simikot, you will proceed with your excursion to Hilsa. After landing at Hilsa, trek up to Sher village by crossing the Karnali River on a suspension bridge and entering China. Sher Village is home to both the Chinese immigration office and the border checkpoint. Your vehicles (Land Cruisers and trucks) will stand by there too. From the suspension bridge, the actual trek to Sher takes between 45 and an hour. It could require no less than two hours to assemble all gathering individuals and baggage in the movement office up in Sher. The formalities, on the other hand, are quick. Purang (Taklakot) is another hour's drive from Sher. Stay the night in Purang.
On this day, we will rest at Taklakot for acclimatization reasons. As you have acquired a huge level in something like a day while coming to Taklakot, it should adapt for a day before making any further excursion to the higher rise. However, trekkers can also arrange a brief visit to the ancient temple of Ram, Sita, and Laxman, the Khojarnath Temple. This is an optional program; however, you will need to pay for transportation to and from the temple as well as the temple's entrance fee. Or disaster will be imminent, you could walk around the city all alone and visit the remnants of old Taklakot. The temple dates back 1100 years. Stay the night in Purang.
We will leave Purang early in the morning, following breakfast, for Lake Manasarovar. This is the day that your Kailash Parikrama begins. To get to Mansarovar, we'll take a 75-kilometer drive via Rakshash Tal. We take a brief break at Rakshas Taal (Lake Ravana) to take pictures and enjoy the view. After a brief break in Rakshas Taal, we proceed with your excursion to Lake Manasarover. On the day, we will travel to the enchanting and sacred Mansarovar Lake, which is situated in an extraordinary landscape. We perform Parikrama at the sacred Manasarovar after taking a holy bath and performing Puja and other religious rituals. Even the majestic Mount Kailash can be seen from this vantage point. We are spiritually satisfied and content after this journey. Short-term at Lake Manasarovar.
We will drive 10 kilometers to Yam Dwar (or Serso) (4750 meters), the fortunate entrance to the Parikrama (circuit) around Mt. Kailash, after performing puja and taking a holy dip in the lake. Additionally, the local Tibetans use it as their sky burial ground. You can get the closest view of Mt. Kailash from this location. Additionally, this is the specific location from which the group typically splits in two. The holy circumambulation around Mt. Kailash will be performed by those who are willing to trek from "Yama Dwar," while those who are unable to trek will return to Darchen in a Jeep and wait for others to arrive. The Dera Phuk trail is flat and easy. However, the high elevation may make it difficult for you to walk. The all-out excursion to Dera Phuk Gompa (4890m/18 km) expects to cycle for 5 to 6 hours individually.
After breakfast, we get ready for our exhausting, yet exceptionally remunerating stroll to Zuthulphuk. Altogether, we journey around 22km, requiring around 8-10 hours. This is the day each pioneer discusses, as it is the most troublesome day all through the excursion. We ascend to Dolma La Pass (5600 meters), pray, and then descend to Zuthulphuk. Stay the night in this guesthouse.
Parikrama's final day is today. We take a drive back to Purang (Taklakot) after finishing Parikarma. We then feel rejuvenated and travel to Sher. After finishing the migration customs, we will stroll down to Hilsa which will require about 45 minutes. Stay the night at Hilsa.
After breakfast, take the helicopter to Simikot and afterward again to Nepalgunj from Simikot. You will board a connecting flight to Kathmandu from Nepalgunj Airport. In the wake of arriving in Kathmandu, you will be moved to the Lodging and you can invest the free energy looking for gifts in Kathmandu. In Kathmandu, we'll have a dinner to mark the occasion. In a hotel for the night.
You will be taken to the airport by us. Thank you for joining Himalayan Yoga And Excursion on a trek. We anticipate seeing you once more!
