Upon arrival at Paro Airport, you will be transferred to Thimphu, Thimphu is Bhutan’s capital, a scenic drive of 54 km that takes around 1/2 hours. Thimphu, situated at an altitude of 2,334 meters, is a perfect place to start your Bhutanese adventure. After settling in, you will begin sightseeing, visiting Thimphu’s most iconic landmarks, including the majestic Tashichho Dzong, the towering Buddha Dordenma statue, and the peaceful National Memorial Chorten.
After breakfast, you’ll back to Paro, a short drive of 54 km (about 1 hour). Paro, located at a slightly lower altitude of 2,280 meters, offers a rich cultural experience. You will visit the stunning Paro Dzong, an impressive fortress monastery, and the Rinpung Dzong, a site steeped in history. You’ll also explore the National Museum of Bhutan, which showcases Bhutanese art, culture, and history.
Today’s highlight is the hike to the famous Taktsang Monastery, Tiger’s Nest. After breakfast, the 7 km hike, which takes about 4 hours. This iconic monastery, on a cliff 900 meters above the Paro Valley, is one of Bhutan’s most revered sites. The hike is challenging but rewarding, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Once at the monastery, you’ll have time to explore and take in the breathtaking views. Afterward, return to Paro for a restful evening.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Paro Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your unforgettable Bhutan adventure.

National Memorial Chortens

Public Remembrance Chorten, for the most part known as Thimphu Chorten or Harmony Commemoration Chorten is the most visited milestone in Bhutan. Motithang Takin Protect initially was a small scale zoo and is currently a Takin jelly situated in the Motithang locale of Thimphu, Bhutan. The Takin (Budorcas Taxicolor) is the public creature of Bhutan because of its connections with its Bhutanese strict history and folklore. It is believed that Drukpa Kunley, a Tibetan saint who was also known as "Divide Madam," created the strange creature that is now known as Takin in the 15th century. This goat-impala like animal is found in steep timberlands reaching out to the tree line and mountain valley in the eastern Himalayan area.

Simtokha Dzong

Simtokha Dzong arranged on top of a little slope is a heavenly little Dzong which is also called Sangak Zabdrung Phodrang.
