You will arrive in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal. You will be welcomed by Himalayan Yoga and Excursion's representative and transferred to our Hotel. After settling in, you will have be a briefing with our guide, who will provide you with more information about the trek and answer any questions you may have. You can explore the vibrant the city of Kathmandu, visit its temples and markets, and sample the local cuisine. In the evening, you will have a welcomed dinner with our trekking group and get to know our fellow trekkers.
After breakfast, you will be taken on a guided tour of the city's UNESCO World Heritage Sites. You will visit the famous Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, which is considered one of the most sacred shrines in the world for Hindus, and the Bouddhanath Stupa, the largest stupa in Nepal and one of the largest in the world. You will also visit the historic Kathmandu Durbar Square, where you can see ancient palaces and temples, and the Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple, which is perched on a hilltop and offers panoramic views of the city. In the evening, you will have a final briefing with our guide and make final preparations for the trek.
You will take an early morning flight from Kathmandu to Tumlingtar, a small town in eastern Nepal. The flight offers stunning views of the Himalayan range, including Mount Everest. From Tumlingtar, you will then drive by private jeep to Num, a small village located at an altitude of 1490 meters. The drive takes around 4-5 hours and passes through scenic landscapes, including forests and terraced fields. Num is the starting point of the trek and offers beautiful views of the surrounding hills and valleys. You will spend the night at a local lodge in Num and prepare for the first day of trekking.
