14 Days Dhorpatan Wildlife Reserve Yoga Trek

Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel
Great! Upon your arrival at Kathmandu airport, you will be welcomed by Himalayan Yoga and Excursion staff. They will then transfer you to your hotel where you can relax and freshen up after your journey.
Once you've settled in, you can enjoy a welcome program organized by Himalayan Yoga and Excursion, which may include a brief orientation about your trek, as well as a traditional Nepali dinner with cultural performances. This is a great opportunity to meet your trekking team and get to know your fellow trekkers.
After the welcome program, you can rest and prepare for your trek. Your guide will brief you about the trekking itinerary, equipment needed, and answer any questions you may have. You can also take some time to explore the city and visit some of its famous landmarks, such as the ancient temples, stupas, and markets.

Day 2 : Drive from Kathmandu to Beni, 9/10 hours. Overnight at lodge.
After breakfast, you will start your drive from Kathmandu to Beni. The drive takes around 9 to 10 hours, passing through scenic countryside, hills, and valleys. You'll drive on a paved road up to Pokhara, where you can stop for lunch and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Annapurna mountain range.
After lunch, you'll continue your drive to Beni, which is the starting point of your trek. The road from Pokhara to Beni is a rough and bumpy dirt road, but it offers some spectacular views of the mountains and landscapes.
Upon arrival in Beni, you'll check into your lodge and rest for the night. You can explore the small town of Beni, which is located at the confluence of the Myagdi Khola and Kali Gandaki River. The town offers some basic amenities such as shops, restaurants, and a bank.
Overnight stay will be at a lodge in Beni.
Day 3 : Drive to Darbang a 2/3 hours and start trek to Dharapani. Overnight at tented camp.
After breakfast at the lodge in Beni, you'll drive to Darbang, which takes around 1 hour. Darbang is a small village located on the bank of the Myagdi Khola. From here, you'll start your trek to Dharapani.
The trek from Darbang to Dharapani takes around 5 hours and is a relatively easy walk. You'll pass through several small villages, terraced fields, and forests of oak, rhododendron, and pine. Along the way, you'll also cross a few suspension bridges over the Myagdi Khola.
Dharapani is a beautiful village located at an altitude of 1,860m. It offers stunning views of the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna mountain ranges. You'll spend the night at a tented camp in Dharapani.
Overnight stay will be at a tented camp in Dharapani.
Day 4 : Trek from Dharapani to Lamsung. Overnight at tented camp.
After breakfast at the tented camp in Dharapani, you'll start your trek to Lamsung. The trek takes around 6-7 hours and is a moderate walk.
You'll start the trek by crossing a suspension bridge over the river, and then follow a trail that goes through a dense forest of oak, rhododendron, and pine. You'll pass through several small villages, terraced fields, and streams along the way. The trail offers stunning views of the mountains, waterfalls, and landscapes.
You'll reach Lamsung, a small village located at an altitude of 2,250m, in the late afternoon. The village is situated on a hillside, offering beautiful views of the surrounding hills and mountains. You'll spend the night at a tented camp in Lamsung.
Overnight stay will be at a tented camp in Lamsung.
Day 5 : Trek from Lamsung to Jaljala 3,430m. Overnight at tented camp.
After breakfast at the tented camp in Lamsung, you'll start your trek to Jaljala. The trek takes around 7 hours and is a strenuous walk.
You'll start by climbing up a steep trail through a dense forest of oak, rhododendron, and pine. Along the way, you'll pass through several small streams, waterfalls, and grazing lands. The trail offers stunning views of the surrounding hills and mountains, including the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges.
After walking for around 4-5 hours, you'll reach the top of Jaljala Pass, which is located at an altitude of 3,580m. From here, you'll descend down to Jaljala, which is located at an altitude of 3,430m. The village offers stunning views of the mountains and landscapes.
You'll spend the night at a tented camp in Jaljala.
Day 6 : Trek from Jaljala to Dhorpatan. Overnight at tented camp.
After breakfast at the tented camp in Jaljala, you'll start your trek to Dhorpatan. The trek takes around 7 hours and is a moderate walk.
You'll start by following a trail that goes through a dense forest of oak, rhododendron, and pine. Along the way, you'll pass through several small streams, waterfalls, and grazing lands. The trail offers stunning views of the surrounding hills and mountains.
After walking for around 5-6 hours, you'll reach Dhorpatan, which is located at an altitude of 2,860m. Dhorpatan is a beautiful village that is known for its pristine wilderness and wildlife reserve. It offers stunning views of the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna mountain ranges.
You'll spend the night at a tented camp in Dhorpatan.
Day 7 : Exploration around and Spotting animals etc. And trek to Phagune Phedi 4,493m. Overnight at tented camp.
Today will be a rest day in Dhorpatan, during which you'll have the opportunity to explore the surrounding area and spot some wildlife. Dhorpatan Wildlife Reserve is home to several rare and endangered species, including the Himalayan tahr, musk deer, and snow leopard. You can also visit the local villages and interact with the locals to learn more about their culture and way of life.
After exploring the area, you'll start your trek to Phagune Phedi, which is located at an altitude of 4,493m. The trek takes around 3-4 hours and is a strenuous walk. The trail ascends steeply up through a beautiful landscape of mountains, green jungle, and landscapes.
You'll reach Phagune Phedi in the late afternoon, and spend the night at a tented camp.
Overnight stay will be at a tented camp in Phagune Phedi.
Day 8 : Morning hike to Phagune Danda and trek back to Jungle camp. Overnight at tented camp.
Today, you'll wake up early and start your morning hike to Phagune Danda, which is located at an altitude of 5,109m. The hike takes around 3-4 hours and is a challenging climb, but the views from the top are truly spectacular. From the top of Phagune Danda, you'll have panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and landscapes.
After spending some time at the top, you'll start your descent back to the jungle camp. The trek takes around 3 hours, and you'll follow a different trail through a dense forest of oak, rhododendron, and pine. Along the way, you'll have the chance to spot some wildlife, including the musk deer, Himalayan tahr, and snow leopard.
You'll reach the jungle camp in the late afternoon and spend the night at a tented camp.
Overnight stay will be at a tented camp in the Jungle Camp.
Day 9 : Trek from Jungle Camp to Gurjaghat 3,000m. Overnight at tented camp.
Today, you'll continue your trek from the Jungle Camp to Gurjaghat, which is located at an altitude of 3,000m. The trek takes around 6 hours and is a moderate walk through a beautiful landscape of forests, streams, and small villages.
Along the way, you'll pass through the villages of Dolpo and Taka, where you can interact with the locals and learn more about their way of life. You'll also have the chance to see some wildlife, including the Himalayan tahr and musk deer.
You'll reach Gurjaghat in the late afternoon and spend the night at a tented camp.
Overnight stay will be at a tented camp in Gurjaghat.
Day 10 : Trek from Gurjaghat to Patichaur. Overnight at tented camp.
Today, you'll trek from Gurjaghat to Patichaur, which is located at an altitude of 2,900m. The trek takes around 6 hours and is a moderate walk through a beautiful landscape of forests, streams, and small villages.
You'll pass through the villages of Bhagawati and Dagnam, where you can interact with the locals and learn more about their way of life. You'll also have the chance to see some wildlife, including the Himalayan tahr and musk deer.
You'll reach Patichaur in the late afternoon and spend the night at a tented camp.
Overnight stay will be at a tented camp in Patichaur.
Day 11 : Patichaur to Darbang and to Beni. 5 hours. From Darbang drive to Beni 2/ 3 hours.
Today is the last day of your trek. You'll trek from Patichaur to Darbang, which takes around 5 hours. The trail is relatively easy, and you'll walk through a beautiful landscape of forests, streams, and small villages.
Once you reach Darbang, you'll take a jeep or bus to Beni, which takes around 2-3 hours. You'll enjoy scenic views of the mountains and landscapes along the way.
You'll spend the night in a lodge in Beni.
Overnight stay will be in a lodge in Beni.
Day 12 : Drive back from Beni to Pokhara overnight in Pokhara.
After breakfast, you'll leave Beni and take a drive to Pokhara, which takes around 4-5 hours. Pokhara is a beautiful city located in the western part of Nepal and is known for its natural beauty, including the beautiful Phewa Lake and stunning mountain views.
Once you reach Pokhara, you'll check into your hotel and have some free time to explore the city. You can visit the lakeside area, stroll around the local markets, or just relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
You'll spend the night at a hotel in Pokhara.
Day 13 : Drive or 30 minutes flight back to Kathmandu
You have two options to get back to Kathmandu from Pokhara: by road or by air.
By road, it takes around 6-7 hours to reach Kathmandu. The road journey is scenic and takes you through beautiful countryside and hills. You can enjoy the views of the Himalayan ranges and Nepalese villages along the way.
Alternatively, you can take a 30-minute flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu. The flight offers stunning views of the Himalayas and the beautiful landscapes of Nepal.
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you'll be transferred to your hotel. You can spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring the city, shopping for souvenirs, or simply relaxing at your hotel.
Overnight stay will be at a hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 14 : Departure from Kathmandu
Today is the last day of your trip, and as per your flight schedule, you'll be transferred to the airport for your departure from Kathmandu. Our representative will assist you with your check-out and transfer to the airport, ensuring that you reach the airport on time for your flight.
