Annapurna Base Camp Short Trek - 7 Days

The short trek to Annapurna Base Camp is suitable for those with limited time but a desire to see the natural beauty of Nepal's mountains and terrain. It is moderately difficult.

After a two-hour drive from Pokhara, the Kimche start of the Annapurna short trek is located. You follow a path that takes you through thick rhododendrons and bamboo woods, shocking terraced fields, and engineered overpasses to the customary Gurung towns until you arrive at Ghandruk - the objective for the principal day.

On the second day of the Annapurna short trek, you'll walk through lush forests and grassy pastures before reaching Chomrong, surrounded by rocky passes and cliffs. Views of Machhapuchre (a fishtail) and the Annapurna massifs can be enjoyed on the way to Chomrong.

The following day, you leave Chomrong and travel to the Himalayas. You will currently see that your way steadily climbs as it goes through more rhododendron and bamboo timberlands.

You will reach Annapurna Base Camp (4,130 m / 13,550 ft) on the fourth day of your short trek to Annapurna Base Camp, passing Machhapuchre Base Camp on the way. The way to Annapurna Headquarters follows Modi Khola Ice Sheet Valley. The Annapurna range, including Annapurna I (8,097 m / 26,566 ft), Khangsar Kang, Gangapurna, and Macchapuchre, can be seen from the Annapurna Base Camp. You will spend the night at Annapurna Base Camp itself.

The descent begins after spending the night at Annapurna Base Camp. On the fifth day of the seven-day Annapurna Base Camp short trek, it makes a stop at Bamboo.

You leave Bamboo the following morning and travel to Jhinu Danda. When you arrive at Jhinu Danda, you will loosen up in the nearby normal natural aquifers. You will trek from Jhinu Danda to Siwa/Ghandruk Phedi on the final day of the trek. From there, we will drive you to Pokhara, where the Annapurna Base Camp Short Trek ends.

Later in the day, Himalayan Yoga and Excursion have a goodbye supper at Kathmandu. Annapurna Headquarters short journey is a more limited form of our 11-day Annapurna Headquarters Trip, which is marginally simpler, with additional in the middle between. One of the shortest treks to Annapurna Base Camp is this one.

ITINERARY

The trip typically begins from Pokhara. However, Discovery World Trekking provides a free bus ride to Pokhara from Kathmandu. The journey by bus takes about six hours. You can decide to travel to Pokhara for an additional expense. From Pokhara, we will head to Kimche through Nayapul and Syauli Market. The actual trekking begins and ends at Ghandruk. Along the path, you'll see subtropical forests, enormous mountains, terraced farms, and incredible mountain terrain. Traditional practices and ways of life abound in Ghandruk village, home to numerous Buddhist monasteries. We won't pass up the chance to see the Gurung Museum. From Ghandruk, we can see the dynamite perspectives on Fishtail, Annapurna South, and the Hiunchuli mountains.
After some tea early morning, we climb from Ghandruk through a lofty plummet to Kimron Stream and afterward rise to arrive at Chomrong. Views of Annapurna South, also known as Fishtail Mountain, can be seen from the road, and they appear divine early in the morning. Chomrong is perched atop a hillside in the shadow of the enormous Annapurna massif. Assuming we show up at Chomrong early, we will travel further to Sinuwa to go through the evening.
Depending on where we stayed last night, today's trek will be slightly different. If we remained at Chomrong, we would climb to Himalayan through Sinuwa. Otherwise, we will begin the journey from Sinuwa and arrive at Deurali. So you can leave Chomrong and follow a stone-paved path through the lush forest until we cross Chomrong Khola. The path then climbs, passing through thick rhododendrons and bamboo forests until it reaches the Himalayas. Assuming that we journeyed from Chomrong, we stopped at Himalaya for the evening or, more than likely at Deurali.
If we are in the Himalayas, we will leave the Himalayas and travel to Annapurna Base Camp via the Modi Khola glacier valley, which will take us past Machhapuchhre Base Camp. Any other way, the journey will begin from Deurali. We will continue trekking north until we reach Annapurna Base Camp, despite the stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains from Machhapuchhre Base Camp. All through the excursion, we will walk near the Annapurna ice sheets. From Annapurna Base Camp, we have a 360-degree view of Hiunchuli and the Annapurna ranges, including Machhapuchhare, Gangapurna, Annapurna III, and Annapurna I (8,097 meters/26,566 feet).
After appreciating breakfast alongside the perspectives on the lovely dawn over the Himalayas, we start our journey that will ultimately remove us from Annapurna Asylum. Notwithstanding, we initially backtracked our gets out of Modi Waterway Valley to arrive at Bamboo Town - the objective for the afternoon.
Our trek continues as we descend to Kimrong Khola. From there, the path ascends and winds its way through tranquil oak, bamboo, and rhododendron forests to Chomrong village. However, we continue until we reach Jhinu Danda, a peaceful small town. This town has close riverside natural aquifers, where we mitigate our drained muscles. We will remain at Jhinu Danda for the evening.
Today will be the last day of the journey. We leave Jhinu Danda and travel to the right side of Mardi Khola on a dusty road. We arrive at Siwa/Ghandruk Phedi after a leisurely three to four-hour walk. From Ghandruk Phedi, we first drive to Birethanti, then, at that point, Nayapul until we arrive at Pokhara. Our trip bundle finishes at Pokhara. We trust that, by then, you would have made valuable recollections of arriving at Annapurna Headquarters.
